I have an old Smeg FAB30PS3 and Smeg themselves mis-advised on which thermostat I needed. They said I needed a 780mm thermostat and I could just bend it back on itelf (don't do this!) Not only did that not work very well, it snapped when I tried to take it out. £55 wasted. After a bit of research I stumbled upon this site and ordered this part. It had the exact length of capillary that I needed (700mm). All is now working as it should. I wish I had just bought this one first and save myself the aggro and wasted money!
Overall: Yes, I would recommend to a friend
